The most reiterated name that hit the headlines and hearts of every Indian last year. The film was an exigent attempt to take the viewers into the in interiors of Mumbai slums. Honesty in narration made it face the spiteful criticism from those great makers of ‘original’ Indian film. It stands a real defy to those bollywood film makers, the worst misguiders of the Indian film. A customary viewer of such films is expected to have the notion that a typical Indian studies abroad and has Punjabi weddings. Didn’t you ever feel so??? Slum dog millionaire is a slander to such films not only because of its fabulous techniques of narration, but also the candor it showed to reality. Those naughty little ones make us rewind many portions again and again. By and large, emotions can be best expressed by children and can have an enduring effect in the hearts of viewers.Above all, it was as eye-opener to us, who paid no attention to the technicians behind the camera. It was quite astonishing to know how those complicated technicalities can lead to such a marvelous visual treat. The fame Rasool Pookkutty earned will indeed have some ripple effects. Let’s wait to see a load of sound engineers emerging out from Indian Universities in the forth coming years.Hats off to our Mozart, A.R.Rehman!!! An Oscar for him was no wonder.
